Identity Reset - Day 5 (10/2)
Day 5 – A Child of God

Scripture: “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” – John 1:12–13

Devotional: One of the greatest truths you can hold onto is this: you are a child of God. This is your primary identity. You don’t have to earn it, and no one can take it away. As a leader, knowing you are God’s child brings confidence—you don’t have to lead for people’s approval, because you already have God’s love. When you lead from security instead of insecurity, people see Christ’s strength in you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for calling me Your child. Help me to live in the security of Your love and not in the fear of people’s opinions. Let my confidence come from knowing who I am in You. Teach me to lead out of that security so others can experience the freedom of being Your child too.

Action Item: Each time you feel unsure of yourself today, pause and say out loud: “I am a child of God, fully loved and fully accepted.”
