Identity Reset - Day 9 (10/6)
Day 9 – Light Right Where You Are

Scripture: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14–16

Devotional: Being a missionary doesn’t always mean traveling far away. It begins right where you are. Jesus calls you the “light of the world,” which means your everyday life—your kindness, honesty, and love—points people to God. Your influence is leadership, even in small ways. A smile, a prayer, or a gentle word can open the door for someone to see Christ in you.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for calling me the light of the world. Teach me how to shine in my everyday life. Help me live with joy, integrity, and compassion so that people see You in me. Use me to reflect Your goodness in my home, workplace, and community.

Action Item: Do one act of kindness today without expecting anything in return. Let it be a simple way of shining God’s light.
