Day 17 – The Power of Persistent Prayer

Scripture: “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” – Luke 18:1

Devotional: Sometimes we pray and don’t see results right away—but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Jesus taught His followers to keep praying and never give up. Intercessors understand that persistence in prayer builds strength and faith. Your prayers are not wasted; they prepare the ground for breakthrough. Kingdom leaders keep praying even when things look unchanged, because they trust that God moves in His perfect time.

Prayer: God, thank You that You hear every prayer I pray. Help me not to give up when answers seem delayed. Strengthen my faith to believe that You are working behind the scenes. Teach me to persevere in prayer and to find joy in Your presence while I wait.

Action Item: Take one situation you’ve been praying about for a while. Instead of giving up, write down a short prayer of faith and declare, “God is working, even if I can’t see it.”
