Wednesday – Purpose, Direction & Focus

Purpose:
As NCA, we are setting this week apart to prepare our hearts, our church, our ministries, and our city for breakthrough and an outpouring of God’s movement.

We are seeking God in Prayer & Fasting from Monday, February 23 – Sunday, March 1, breaking our fast together after service.

Fast as the Lord leads you — whether from food, entertainment, social media, or another area. Seek accountability. Encourage one another. Remain steadfast.

Today’s Focus: Purpose, Direction & Focus

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

How to Pray Today
Set three intentional prayer times (morning, afternoon, evening).
At the top of each hour, pause for 30 seconds and pray through today’s focus.

Purpose

• Ask God to clarify His purpose for your life in this season.
• Pray for alignment with His calling over you.
• Surrender personal ambition that is not rooted in Him.
• Pray for NCA to walk fully in our God-given assignment.
• Pray for your Life Group and Ministry Team to operate in clear purpose.

Direction

• Ask God for wisdom in decisions you are facing.
• Pray for clarity where there has been confusion.
• Invite the Holy Spirit to lead your steps daily.
• Pray for spiritual direction over our church and leadership.
• Pray for unbelievers in your life to be directed toward Jesus.

Focus

• Ask God to remove distractions.
• Pray for discipline and spiritual consistency.
• Ask for grace to keep your eyes fixed on Him.
• Pray that NCA would remain focused on what God is doing in this season of breakthrough.

Throughout the Day

• Center your attention on Jesus.
• Limit social media and outside distractions.
• Read the Bible whenever you have free moments.
• Carry a physical Bible if possible.
• Sit quietly and listen — write down what God is speaking.
• Ask God for words of encouragement for your Life Group and Ministry Team — and send them.

When purpose is clear, direction follows. When direction is clear, focus strengthens. Today we align ourselves with God’s will and position NCA for breakthrough.
