NCA Giving Champion
Job Title: Giving Champion
Supervisor(s): Executive Director (Israel Oby)
Key Partners: NCA Board, Interim Financial Manager
Overview: As Giving Champion, you will be responsible for helping NCA raise money for its operations, special projects, and capital campaigns through encouraging and tracking giving from NCA Partners, visitors, sponsors, and the greater Madison community.
As a member of the financial team, you will assist the NCA board with carrying out stewardship and giving campaigns, as well as help keep track of partner/community giving pledges to help NCA budget and plan effectively.
Time Commitment: Approx. 6-10 hrs/wk

Responsibilities:
- Reach out to partners, visitors, and NCA community individually and collectively to provide information about giving, request giving, and encourage giving pledges.
- Encourage, track, and update individual giving pledges from NCA partners based on the partners desire and ability to give and the financial goals of the ministry to assist in the financial budgeting of the ministry.
- Provide frequent communication to NCA partners and visitors about the ministry’s giving goals and encourage a culture of generosity throughout the ministry
- Own the strategy and execution of providing givers with general and personalized thank-you’s, letters of appreciation, notice of impact, and other communication to show appreciation for giving their and the impact that their giving made on the lives of those the church serves.
- Assist the financial team and board with the creation and execution of giving campaigns for special projects, events, and capital fundraising.
- Encourage positive, effective, and Godly giving habits for the NCA community (tithing, giving generously, giving recurring, giving online, praying over gifts, etc.)
Requirements:
- Be an active partner at NCA
- Willingness to grow in personal generosity and financial giving
- Willingness to develop a heart for financial stewardship.
- Basic skills with Google Drive products (Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc.)
- Ability to write and format communications (email, text, letters, etc.)
- Ability to socialize and make welcoming, warm conversation with new people.
- Willingness to reach out to individuals through phone, email, and in person to encourage giving.
